Girls Just want to have...
I need a new camera.
Some of these pictures are ridiculously fuzzy.

Poor Dorothy.
She just got her wisdom teeth out but she still came.

The only boy that was allowed at girls night because we needed some
scooping muscle.

Love these girls :)

One Year

Today marks my One Year Anniversary
of working at the SUU Gerald Sherratt Library.

I remember one of the first tasks I was given
was to deliver the mail.

This is the Mail Wagon.
The Mail Wagon and Myself have been through a lot this past year.

At first we did not get along at all.
I found the constant rattling and squeaking extremely annoying
(especially in a quiet library)
and we disagreed about my steering capabilities
on every corner we encountered.

Even though our relationship was rocky at first,
we have since learned to cooperate with each other.
We now take corners with ease,
We don't mind the annoyed faces of on-lookers about our noise,
and delivering mail is one of my favorite chores to do at work.

Dot :)

You are an amazing friend.
And not just to me,
but everyone that you come in contact with.

I was talking with Jill, Kaeli and Ammon the other day about
just how amazing you are.
You can talk to anyone and become friends right off the bat.

I don't remember exactly when I met you
or how we became friends,
and I'm sure that's because
the moment that I did meet you,
it was as if we had always been friends. :)

Not only are you stunningly beautiful on the outside,
but you are one of the best people that I know because of your
character and testimony.

Thanks for being one of my all-time BESTEST FRIENDS!

I hope you have an amazingly wonderful 19th birthday!

P.S. we need to get some updated photos of us together

Boonie Tatoe

aka "Boonie Tatoe",
(one of those strange,
endearing family nicknames with a long story behind it)

is my favorite nephew.
OK, he's my only nephew, but still...

My sister and bro-in-law went on a trip to celebrate her
college graduation.
And because they did,
I had the privilege of babysitting my cute little nephew all week long.
(with a some help from the grandparents in the evening and night)

Here's a rundown of things we did:

We went for rides in the stroller.

We played in our gym and practiced rolling over.

We swung in our beloved swing while watching our new
favorite cartoon, Phineas & Ferb.

We sat our Bum in our Bumbo while playing with our toys.

We splashed and kicked in the tub (sink) and loved every minute of it!
(This picture was taken on Micah's 5 month Birthday)

We did these things basically everyday,
along with singing and dancing to both of our favorite movie's soundtrack,
The Princess and the Frog
for a little exercise.

Out of all our activities together though,
my favorite was snuggling and giggling at each other.
Oh, how I love Micah's cute baby laugh!

With all these activities, by the end of the day
we were all puckered out.

He's the cutest boy I know!
Even when I was gaging at the smell of his diapers,
(which strangely smelled of Arby's Roast Beef.
Too much information?
Sorry. But Gross, huh?
I will not be eating there anytime soon)

he still managed to make me smile. :D

I knew that a week of babysitting was going to be hard,
but I'm so glad for the opportunity.
I love this boy to death!
He's such a good baby and has such a cute personality.
And even though Micah is so young,
I already feel a special friendship between us.

The beginning of May is always one of my favorite times of the year.
It's warm,
summer is on it's way,
my family gets to
celebrate these two incredible people.

My Parents.

First phase of celebration is my Dad's birthday...

He's such a good grandpa :D

My dad is my hero.I can honestly say that he is the best man that I have ever met.
We've been bestest buds since day one :)
I love you, dad!
Here's to you having a Happy Birthday with many more to come!

Second is, of coarse,
Mother's Day.

I know that I don't tell my mom how much I appreciate her enough.
She does everything she possibly can for me, down to smallest detail.
I love you, mom!
Thanks for all your advice and council that you give me.

Thomas Jefferson said,
"If I have been able to see farther than most,
it is because I have stood on the shoulders of Giants."

That is exactly how I feel about my parents.

They've given me every opportunity to succeed and reach my goals.
I love you guys! Thanks for everything!
